A charming bear fetish carved of naturally shed antler with turquoise inlays decorates this Southwest charmer. It was made by Troy Sice, a member of the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico. Sterling silver findings and blue shell pearl beads (glass beads that use the ground pearl nacre as a component of their coating) reflect the blue of the vast New Mexico sky. A fetish is meant to confer upon its wearer the prime characteristics of the animal – in this case, the bear’s strength and resourcefulness. The bracelet will fit most wrists comfortably.
