A Tibetan butterfly pendant carved of horn and framed in sterling silver is the accent of this beautiful necklace, complemented by Iranian turquoise, copal amber from Africa, smoky quartz from Brazil and finely wrought silver from Bali and Thailand.  It measures 10” from clasp to bottom of butterfly, 20” total.  The little elephant is a hand-carved Japanese ojime with inlaid onyx eyes, and the clasp is of fine silver (more pure than sterling) is hand-made by American artist Kate McKinnon.
