A stunning compilation of gemstones from around the world: carved bone from Ethiopia; red sponge coral from the Indo-Pacific seas; Brazilian rock crystal; carved Chinese turquoise; silver from Bali, Thailand, and Tibet; and a wooden Japanese netsuke, hand-carved and signed by the artist in a mother-of-pearl inlay.  Length is 17” from clasp to bottom of pendant, approximately 34” total.

The pendant is of Tibetan origin, handformed by village artisans of silver and inlaid with coral.  It is a symbol in Asia of long life and good fortune.  An artistic statement, a multi-cultural celebration.
